ROAD TO #OZMOZIS200: TALENT-FILLED JOURNEY KICKS OFF WITH EELKE KLEIJN AND DANNY HOWELLS

A mind once stretched by a new idea can never go back to its original dimensions   ~ Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr.

Music has the power to uplift and connect people, and it’s with this awareness that Toronto-based promotion company Ozmozis has been producing events intended to create a sense of unity among music lovers, taking them on a journey with thoughtfully curated lineups and elevated atmosphere. Their forward-thinking programming continues this fall season with a milestone series of 8 shows leading up to their 200th on New Year’s Eve.

The road to #Ozmozis200 is a reflection and celebration of these shared experiences and starts this Friday with talented Dutch composer Eelke Kleijn and uniquely gifted UK artist, Danny Howells.

(Eelke Kleijn)

Kleijn’s often anthemic productions ride the line of electronic music to true modern day composition. His sound is featured in film scores, stunning live sets and refined productions, and his work featured on renowned labels Suara, Toolroom, Lost & Found and more.

(Danny Howells)

Similarly, London’s Danny Howells is a versatile veteran of electronic dance music. A DJ, producer and label owner (Dig Deeper) he describes his sound as moving through house to techno, tech house to progressive, bringing dynamism and range to his shows. His over 20 years experience is accompanied by a deep production catalogue on distinguished labels including Cr2, Yoshitoshi and Bedrock.

Supporting the event is rising Torontonian Alberto Jossue, versatile and accomplished in both production and behind the decks. The event promises to be captivating and invigorating with overseas and local talent kicking off the road to #Ozmozis200 at NEST, Friday, October 14th, with depth, breadth and undoubtedly, passion.

The series includes 8 events and 22 artists over the next two and a half months leading up to a yet-to-be-announced 200th NYE culmination show. This scintillating programming of some of the industry’s most noteworthy artists in Trance, Progressive and beyond, including Nick Warren, Max Graham, Henry Saiz, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J, is not to be missed - Toronto is in for a treat!
