[PREVIEW] NICK WARREN, MARC ROMBOY & PATRICE BÄUMEL ON THE ROAD TO #OZMOZIS200

Tonight, Friday, November 4th at Nest! Building on the incredible success of their first event, Toronto’s in for another stacked deep, progressive party as the road to #Ozmozis200 continues with Nick Warren, Marc Romboy and Patrice Bäumel at the helm, with local support from Aleksandar Kojic.

With a DJ career spanning over two-decades, a comprehensive tour schedule, expansive production catalogue and his position as head of A&R for long-established Hope Recordings, Nick Warren stands out as one of the most respected names in electronic dance music. The house music and techno icon brings a skilled, intuitive mastery of melodic rhythm and soulful percussion to dance floors globally.

Joining him will be Germany’s Marc Romboy, a musically-adept techno maestro with hundreds of releases and experience spanning decades. His current project sees him collaborating with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra, merging electronic and classical music to create a contemporary performance of the music of French impressionist composer, Claude Debussy. His sound is diverse with influences ranging from Kraftwerk to Pink Floyd, Joy Division to Jeff Mills, and he will no doubt light up the dance floor with skillful depth and breadth.

If that weren’t enough, acclaimed Dutch DJ and producer Patrice Bäumel joins the mix with his self-described “techno music for grown-ups”. A long-time resident DJ at renowned former club, Trouw Amsterdam, Bäumel brings irresistible energy to his productions and a flair for energetic sets.

To open the night, with a recent release on L’Enfant Terrible, a collaborative effort with fellow Torontonian Alberto Jossue, Aleksandar Kojic is one to watch. His deft skills and uncanny aptitude for reading a room will set the tone for what promises to be another rich night of music and vibes you won’t want to miss!

The event will be 10pm-5am at Nest. For more information, click here. For tickets, here.
