[PREVIEW] A PROPER TORONTO NEW YEAR'S EVE WITH VICTOR CALDERONE

One of the industry’s finest, Victor Calderone, returns to Nest to ring in the New Year, supported by talents Avision, Joee Cons, Sean Collier and Joey Karaj. Over two-decades of productions, gigs and remixes speak to the strength, versatility and evolution of this renowned New York-based house and techno DJ.

Calderone’s labels, Waveform and MATTER+, champion both rising and long-established talent, including New York’s Avision, making his Nest debut, and Toronto’s own Sean Collier, with his recent Shatter EP, out on Waveform. Collier has attracted attention from the likes of Paco Osuna, Joris Voorn, Kaiserdisco, Carlo Lio and Adam Beyer for releases on Transmit Recordings, KD Music and more, and is turning heads with consistent productions. Avision in turn has released on Suara and Mark Broom’s Beard Man records recently, and is also attracting attention for his productions, gigs and consistent growth.

Joee Cons has been a vital part of Toronto’s electronic dance music scene for well over a decade. With dozens of releases in tech house, house, techno, progressive house and beyond, Cons is a prolific producer, who’s tracks have charted frequently in Beatport’s Top 100, and is a stalwart behind the booth captivating dance floors. Toronto’s Joey Karaj is rising steadily and will round out the night of exceptional talent with an opening set.
